1 Duck - Arkansas Flooded Timber Hunt for 1 duck never to be forgotten

Getting the opportunity to introduce a youth to the sport of water-fowling is always a blessing. There’s nothing more pure and real in this world than a child’s smile, and for me being able to capture that moment from behind a camera lens has been so rewarding. On this particular hunt I was fortunate enough to be along side my good friend Chris and his son Ashton. Ashton is one of the greatest kids I have ever met, and has a love for life like no other.

As waterfowl hunters it’s easy to get caught up in measuring success or failure by how many ducks we kill or how many bands hang from our lanyard. We all have those memorable hunts of shooting big limits when everything went exactly according to plan. I, like most others can remember certain hunts and even certain ducks that will forever be ingrained in my mind.....but none more so than this hunt and this 1 duck.

I want to thank everyone who had a hand in making this hunt happen for Ashton.
