How to Change Lexus RX350 Brake Light?

To change a Lexus RX350 brake light, begin by ensuring the vehicle is off and the parking brake engaged for safety. Access the bulb from inside the trunk by carefully removing the trim panel directly behind the tail light assembly. This exposes the light housing's rear, revealing the wiring harness and bulb sockets. Identify the brake light socket, often the top or middle, and gently twist it counter-clockwise to unlock and remove it. The old bulb can then be pulled straight out or pushed and twisted counter-clockwise, depending on its design. Note the bulb number (e.g., 7443 or 3157) and replace it with an identical new bulb, avoiding touching the glass. Insert the new bulb firmly, then reinsert the socket into the housing, twisting clockwise to lock. Test the brake lights before replacing the trim panel to confirm proper function.
