Bassani Road Rage 2 Standard vs Quiet Baffle comparison

The Bassani Road Rage 2 system comes in two styles: long and short pipe in either Chrome or Ceramic Black. I purchased a short chrome system for my wife's 2016 Indian Scout and added the trask air intake and Dobeck Fuel controller. My wife found the pipe to be slightly too loud and said it had a sharp sound. I wrapped the baffle with a thicker fibreglass wrap and lowered the db to 89-90 but she still complained about the sharpness of the sound. I called Bassani and they advised that for the short pipe I could order a 'Quiet' baffle ( part # B2012W) I conducted a comparison and my wife also did a test ride and Bassani was right it made a big improvement for my wife's taste and ears.
