Lol, the very first fact is wrong! Aurora was born on June 15, not on June 14.
Aurora has stated that her first public performance was at age 16 at a school event in December 2012. The age 13 comment in this video comes from an Internet article posted when Aurora played at byLarm 2014. INTERESTING: In 2013, Aurora played only three or four shows, all of them very small. They were just her sitting at a piano singing her songs for 30 minutes. In one of those shows, she was the warm-up act for O. Martin, the guy who later became her guitar player. This is all per Aurora's November 2, 2016, interview with All Songs Considered.
