How to make a ring with surfboard resin a.k.a Surfite. In this tutorial I will show you where to get this amazing material, how to drill the surfboard resin, how to inlay it into a ring blank and how to finish it so it looks snazzy.

What is surfboard resin? This is made up of the overpours from where surfboards are glassed with epoxy resin. Over time layers of resin build up on the makers floor or overpour cups which are made up of layers of different colours. It's pretty cool to think that every layer of colour is represents a surfboard being made!

This ring took me about 3 hours to make (well maybe 4 because it exploded and cracked a few times). I made the ring as a gift for my friend and he absolutely loved it!
