On the Wrist, from off the Cuff: Seiko Presage – SARX045, Baby Grand Seiko?

On this episode we take a look at a brand new release from Seiko's JDM Pressage line, so no in fact, that it didn't even make it into the 2017 catalog. This has to be one of the best all around wrist watches I've ever seen Seiko release, from its overall design aesthetic to the perfect proportions to the high level of fit and finish executed, the SARX045 somehow makes me makes me think Grand Seiko without really resembling any specific existing model in the line. The SARX045 just exudes a certain feeling of luxury that I can't get enough of. It's truly fine example of Japanese watchmaking, distilled into a surprisingly affordable package.
