Canon SL2 and the best budget microphone

New camera Canon SL2 and the best budget microphone going.

I originally purchased the Rode video micro, and returned it almost instantly the microphone simply doesn't work well with the preamps in most dslrs. Because the microphone doesn't have any boost you're forced to turn the cameras preamp way up which causes an annoying hiss. Trust me the Saramonic SRM 3 is a great microphone even better than the rode videomic Pro which costs four times the price.
