How I Start a Horse with 2 Line Driving

Today I am showing you Gunner's first go at long lining. Gunner is an 8 year old Canadian cross gelding. I have had him for almost a year, and have worked with him for about 35 sessions. He has been backed, and saddled and goes walk/trot.

We are currently working on his canter. I also like to make sure he is focusing on where I want to go, when I want to stop or turn, and switching eyes. All these tasks can be taught on the ground in long lines before I advance his riding skills.
