Classic Tiki and 7-UP?? [Trader Vic's Kamaaina]

I can honestly say that this is the first time that we've used 7-Up in a cocktail on the show. I first came across the drink in the menu that I have from Trader Vic's. The recipe is from Trader Vic's Bartender's guide from 1972. If you have the ingredients at home, I suggest giving it a try. Let me know what you think about it in the comments below!

To make the the drink in the video you will need:

2oz 7-Up
1/2oz lemon juice
1/2oz triple sec
1oz Lopez coconut cream
1oz Gin
--------------------------------------
Blend in electric drink mixer with crushed ice. Pour into a ceramic coconut. Garnish with fresh mint and a fruit stick of pineapple and cherry.
