Canada to Hawaii part 2

This is part 2 of our British Columbia to Hawaii journey!
We ventured south from Vancouver island, eagerly awaiting the shift in trade winds that would take us westward towards Hawaii!
We eventually made the turn about 700 miles off the coast of Mexico.

Several days from Big Island, Hawaii, we received news of Hurricane Fernanda forming off the coast of California...we prayed that our beloved Narvhal would shepherd us as quickly as 'windly' possible!

The hurricane slowly tapered off whilst still heading in the direction of Hilo, and the Big Island was lucky enough to just receive a little more rainfall that usual and some big swells! Phew and yeeow!!

We could spend weeks editing all of the footage to give a more detailed account of the journey, but we have to get home!
