Many women find it difficult to compete in a world that is often led by men in various industries and careers. Anbita Siregar and Tania Soerianto decided to take on the challenge and find creative opportunities to empower women in Indonesia. Their research found surprising results that both community and role models are an important contributor to long term success.

Anbita Nadine Siregar is the CEO of Yayasan Generasi Maju Berkarya (Generation Girl). Generation Girl is an Indonesian-based non-profit organization that teaches young women technical and soft skills and empowers them to become future leaders. Before Generation Girl, Nadine worked at Gojek as a Product Engineer. She graduated from Boston University with a degree in Computer Science and earned her Master's Degree in Social Business and Entrepreneurship from the London School of Economics.

Tania holds a background in Biochemistry and Global Health and has a strong passion for technology. She was a Product Manager at Traveloka Xperience, managing the development and launches of products (specifically B2B). Currently, she's the CPO of YGMB (Generation Girl) and aims to develop more products and programs within the organization. She's experienced in User and Market Research, Business Development, building Product Roadmaps, Product Design Methodology, and Technical Product Development Processes.
