RV mom life in the desert // scorpions and cacti

On our way out west to visit the grandparents, we stop in New Mexico to explore. Right after we arrive at Rock Hound State Park, the big girls fall into a cactus - ouch! We have to tweeze out the cacti spines one by one. Next we go on a gem-hunting hike and come back to home to discover an unwanted house guest. Papa escorts the giant cockroach way, way far away from our campsite. Michelle longs for a hot shower and discusses dinner options, which consist mostly of pasta. She’s ready to learn how to use the Instant Pot, but realizes she never packed the power cord!
