RSMI | From the Vault: Leon Fleisher's Lecture, "How to Determine When to Play the 2nd Note"

The late concert pianist Leon Fleisher had his final professional engagement with the Ravinia Steans Music Institute, sharing his expertise and thoughts on Beethoven's Fourth Piano Concerto with the 2020 Program for Piano & Strings. His lecture took place on June 29, 2020, and was titled "Beethoven 4th Piano Concerto, 1st Movement" or "How to Determine When to Play the 2nd Note." Musical examples were provided by pianist Yury Shadrin.
