Cancelling video games is an unfortunate reality and decision that a lot of publishers often have to make. There are hundreds, even thousands of projects that were started and never got the chance at a commercial release. Ever since the launch of the original PlayStation in 1994, there were a lot of planned (and announced) exclusives coming to Sony hardware that met this fate.
