Tenders are no longer just shuttles, but concentrated innovations dictating the design of superyachts.

The rise of electric hydrofoils: The flagship trend for the 2026 season is the electric hydrofoil dinghy. By lifting the hull out of the water, these tenders eliminate drag, double their electric range, and offer completely silent, wake-free navigation (zero emissions, zero wake), an increasing requirement in protected marine areas.

Safety through "Joystick Jet" steering: Traditional propeller-driven tenders are giving way to compact internal jet propulsion systems. Controlled by joystick, these tenders eliminate the danger of external blades for swimmers and offer pinpoint maneuverability in congested marinas.

Impact on naval architecture: Shipyards must adapt.
