Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this 1928 Ford Model A Pickup! The Ford Model A was Ford Motor Company's second market success after its predecessor, the Model T. First produced on October 20, 1927, but not introduced until December 2 as a 1928 model, it replaced the venerable Model T, which had been produced for 18 years. The “A” came in an incredible amount of shapes and sizes of the years with nearly 5 million being built in its generation from 1927 to 1931. Here we have a ’28 Model A, first year of production and a pickup truck! The dark purple paint with accents and couple that with the bright chrome and this truck really draws your eye as it looks great! Inside you’ll find tan vinyl seats that look comfortable and are in great order. You’ll notice controls on the dash for power windows and this truck has been outfitted with Vintage Heat/Air. Per the owner, this truck received a restoration about 25 years ago and there are photos of the restoration that go with the pickup. If the looks are getting your revved up you wait until you see the 350ci V8 lurking under the hood and it sounds so good. Power is ran to the ground through an automatic transmission.
