How Robert Patrick Became a Real-Life Machine 🦾 #Terminator2

For Terminator 2(1991), Robert Patrick trained himself to fire guns without blinking, a small detail that made the T-1000 feel genuinely inhuman. Most people instinctively flinch when a weapon discharges near their face. Patrick eliminated the reflex entirely through repeated drills, creating an unsettling stillness that made his killer feel mechanical rather than alive.
But he didn't stop there. Patrick studied how hawks move their heads, rapid, twitchy, predatory micro-adjustments that track prey with unnatural precision. He incorporated that into the T-1000's movement, giving the character a jerky, bird-of-prey quality that subconsciously registered as wrong to audiences.
