Newton's First Law of Motion
This physics video provides a basic introduction into newton's first law of motion which basically says an object at rest stays at rest and an object in motion stays in motion unless acted on by a nonzero net force. If you roll a ball on carpet, it won't travel very far. Kinetic friction will quickly bring it to a stop. If you roll the same ball on an icy floor, it will continue to travel in that direction for a long time. This video contains plenty of examples that provide a demonstration of Newton's 1st law of motion which is useful for students in high school or college.
