This is Me Falling Apart.

You are listening to "My Falling Apart" song. I wrote this song Sunday December 20th while sitting at my piano. It came from a place of deep conviction within myself that I had been holding back from God. I have been yearning to give God my whole heart and all of it's devotion this winter break. For some time that morning, I was playing covers of other songs and overanalyzing my voice and how it sounded. After a few songs I was feeling so drained. The time of intended worship for God was used instead for myself. I realized that this was an example of my selfish pride- taking my time with God and distorting it into empty obsessions of myself. From that place of frustration this song flowed out of my soul onto the piano. It was me voicing to God a prayer that I constantly have constantly re-prayed in order to center my heart on Him. It always takes me falling apart in order to surrender back to Him my broken pieces.
