Here's how to tell a guy you like or love him without scaring him off:

1) Show him first before you actually tell him - this will help give you an indication of how he feels, plus actions are always louder than words.

2) Affirm him through your words - men respond to words of affirmation , nurturing behaviour and appreciation - so do these three things and he will feel loved in your company.

3) Drop hints - through actions and words like " I love it when we spend time together , you always make me laugh " ...or "I love the way you look , you make my heart skip " or " I love how you make me feel when I am with you."

4)Find the ideal time - go with gut instinct but also try and assess the environment and circumstances so that you don't get distractions at such a crucial moment.

5) Be ,prepared for any reaction - he might feel the same , he might not! That's why if you can show before you tell it gives you a better idea if he is ready to hear it or not.

Remember that people love at different rates and express it in different ways. There will always be some risk involved in being vulnerable with someone , but don't let that stop you from being the first one to talk about how you feel.
