Singapore Unseen: Punggol Waterway Park [Unseen by Tourists: Ep1.]

Welcome to the first episode of Unseen by Tourists. For the next few videos we'll be looking at Singapore Unseen and today, Punggol Waterway Park. In the next six months, we'll be exploring the unseen parts of Singapore, Taipei, Seoul, Busan, Fukuoka, Hiroshima, Osaka and Tokyo. Places where tourists do not frequent but are amazing parts of the city.

Punggol Waterway Park is a popular outdoor area in Northeast Singapore.

It's split into four parts: the Nature Cove, Recreation Zone, Heritage Zone, and Green Gallery.

The Nature Cove is a peaceful area where visitors can relax and enjoy the scenery. The Recreation Zone has open spaces for exercise and a water playground for kids. The Heritage Zone is where visitors can learn about the history of Punggol and take a walk down the old Punggol Road.

The Green Gallery is a beautiful stretch of greenery and wetland plants, which attracts nature enthusiasts and bird watchers.

The park also has the Jewel Bridge, a great spot for photography with impressive views of the sunrise and sunset. The waterway, Singapore's longest man-made one, is also a highlight of the park. Overall, Punggol Waterway Park offers a nice break from the busy city life.
