Literature to Life Welcome 2011

Literature to Life® is an arts and literacy NPO serving young people in underserved communities throughout America. Since 1993, over 400,000 students have experienced this powerful catalyst for learning and self-expression.

The innovative, high quality theater programs of Literature to Life bring books to life. Among the 17 works explored through this unique approach to literature are ThThe Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao by Junot Diaz, The Secret Life of Bees by Sue Monk Kidd and Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury. The American Place Theatre, founded in 1963, is the award-winning non-profit institution that produces Literature to Life educational experiences.
