This ₹1.24 Lakh EV Scooter Is Actually Worth It? 😮 | Jitendra Yunik Review

Here’s the complete real-world review of the Jitendra EV Yunik Electric Scooter — covering design, features, ride quality, storage, speed test, braking performance, and real charging/range results.

We begin the walkaround with the scooter’s 12-inch alloy tyres that offer strong grip and better road presence. The Yunik comes equipped with dual disc brakes (front + rear), giving powerful stopping performance, especially in city traffic.

The front fascia includes Jitendra EV branding, a bright LED headlamp with chrome housing, and a clean, classic design.
The handlebar is wide and comfortable, and the scooter boasts 180mm ground clearance, making it suitable for uneven roads—but slightly tall for shorter riders.

The Yunik features the Hyper Gear Power Train, bringing back memories of old-school gear bicycles, but with a modern EV twist. You get multiple ride modes:

* Reverse Mode

* Parking Mode

* Drive Mode

* Sports Mode

In Drive Mode, the digital cluster showed a max of 41 km/h, and in Sports Mode, it reached up to 75 km/h during testing, making the Yunik one of the quicker scooters in its category.

A major safety highlight is the Parking Brake Lock — the scooter won’t move unless the lock is disengaged, preventing accidental acceleration.

The pickup is strong, and the dual-disc setup gives sharp braking response during hard-brake tests.

Storage-wise, the under-seat boot is limited since the battery occupies most of the space, but it fits the charger well. The scooter is powered by a 3.88 kWh LFP (LMFP) detachable battery. Apartment users will appreciate that the battery can be removed and charged at home. Full charging takes 3.5–4 hours.

Additional features include a helmet hook, a dedicated helmet lock compartment, premium floor mat set, front storage pockets, and a USB charging port for phones. The wide seat is comfortable for the rider, but the pillion footrest is slightly far back.

The stylish remote key lets you center lock, unlock, silent mode, and even remote start the scooter.

Jitendra claims 100 km range, and our testing found the real-world range close to that. The Yunik comes with 3-year / 50,000 km warranty and is priced at ₹1.24 lakh (ex-showroom).
