How to Transfer your design using Prick and Pounce Method
-Be sure to trace your design after it has been chalked. I like to use friXion pens, but a sharp water color pencil, water soluble marker, or disappearing ink marker are also great options.
-This method has been used in various medium for pattern transfers for centuries. Michelangelo used it on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel. It has endured because it is quick, easy, and extremely precise, leaving only a fine dotted line of chalk.
-Its particularly useful for embroidery when you have dense fabric, or delicate fabric that is difficult to trace a design using a light box.
