2022 Elevating Conversations Teaser: Celebrating Women Who "Rewrote The Code"
This Women’s History Month, we’re putting a spotlight on women in tech who have made trailblazing contributions to the industry. Pioneers like Rear Admiral Grace Hopper created a legacy of innovation in computer programming that’s still informing the work of technologists today.
Azadeh Moghtaderi, Vice President of Data Science and Analytics at Ancestry, and Katie R. Genadek, Director of the Decennial Census Digitization and Linkage project at the U.S. Census Bureau, will join us to discuss how Grace Hopper’s computing has enabled each of them to preserve history through machine learning with next month’s release of the 1950 U.S. Census records.
The conversation will examine women’s roles over time, share untold stories of women in STEM, and is sure to inspire the next generation of women history makers. Join us on March 24, 2022 at 12PM PT.
