HP Spectre Rattling Touchpad Noise (Begins at 0:15)

Rattling begins at 0:15. Here's another video of the rattling touchpad issue apparently caused by a faulty Synaptics pad, at least from what I have read online.

The beginning of the video shows the touchpad how it should normally behave. No noise from tapping. I am actually using the touchpad to highlight text on the screen. But as I move to the left side of the pad, it begins to rattle. I never actually "click" the pad, this is just tapping for move the mouse and double tapping to select or highlight.

This is not only a sound issue but a feedback issue. You can actually feel the rattling as when you tap in the places where the pad is loose inside, and because you are tapping a pad where there are gaps under it, the entire unit reverberates a bit, which you can hear audibly as well as feel.

I am working with HP and they have been very friendly and cooperative. However I've already had the both unit and touchpad replaced, each time with a similarly faulty pad. I've read multiple stories of others successfully working with HP on this issue so I'm still optimistic. If it's true this is a Synaptics pad I feel sorry for HP for choosing this vendor and I won't be buying any Synaptics stock any time soon!

Will update.
