LEGO Ninjago City Workshops (71837) SET REVEAL

LEGO has officially revealed the latest addition to the growing LEGO® NINJAGO® City series.

This is set number 71837, Ninjago City Workshops. It will retail for 249.99 EUR  / 219.99 GBP  and 249.00 USD . It is designed for fans aged 14 and up and is the 5 set in the series, which if you are keeping track…thats 7 base plates or approximately 180 centimetres wide.

Its made up of 3,244-pieces and measures over 25cm wide, 25cm deep with a height of 41cm. 

The model features 4 floors and includes a mechanic workshop, two working cranes, and for the first time ever, the ability to create and customise a posable mech complete with a selection of armor and stickers. And this mech can be displayed on a platform in the mech bay which is cool.

The set also features some apartments, stores, and restaurants that gives it a pretty cluttered look overall, but die hard fans will recognise a few locations from the LEGO NINJAGO TV show, along with many hidden Easter Eggs. The nice thing is that some interiors have been designed to be removed, which is always great to see.

The set also comes with 10 NINJAGO minifigures, including Zane, Pixal, a Model Shop Owner, Workshop Mechanic, a very bland Restaurant Worker and Dragonian Tourist, plus we are getting Dorama, Dr. LaRow, Harumi, Twitchy Tim for the first time along with a creepy looking brick-built Puppet figure. The figures are a bit of a hit and miss for me, but I do like that we are getting brand new characters.

The LEGO NINJAGO City Workshops set will be available for purchase starting on the 1st March 2025 at LEGO.com and LEGO Stores.
