AFP arrest man allegedly behind failed drug plot that led to cocaine bricks on NSW beaches
Australian federal police have arrested the alleged leader of an 'organised crime network'. The ring had plans to import more than 20 tonnes of drugs into Australia, Det Spt Adrian Telfer claimed. Speaking at a press conference in Brisbane, he said the AFP would allege the man was behind a failed drug importation that led to bricks of cocaine washing up on east coast beaches
