Animals have been living with us for thousands of years.
The first domesticated animal was a dog or a tamed wolf, to be exact.
The earliest dog bones, discovered in Belgium in 2008, are from 31 thousand 700 hundred years ago. Later people understand that having animal nearby is much more pleasant and comfortable than living without them. And one by one different species were tamed and then domesticated. We continue doing this even in present times.
