Virginia Giuffre's lifelong fight for survivors of sexual abuse | 60 Minutes Australia

A bill called "Virginia's Law" is being introduced in the United States that would eliminate the statute of limitations protecting sex traffickers and abusers. If it passes both chambers of Congress - currently controlled by Republicans - there will be no expiry date for a survivor's ability to sue their alleged perpetrator.

Named after Virginia Giuffre, one of Jeffrey Epstein's most prominent accusers, the proposed legislation was announced by Democrats, alongside her family and other Epstein victims.
