Exposing The Prosperity Gospel

One of the unfortunate disadvantages of living in the most financially blessed nation that has ever existed is that we are easily blinded to the reality of how the average person on planet earth lives each day. For example: the gross domestic product of the entire nation of Honduras is less than that of the city of Nashville, Tennessee. By twisting Scripture to fit a finely tuned narrative, many pastors seem to have reduced the Gospel to one subject, financial blessing. No one should be surprised when they see these pastors living in million dollar homes and flying on million dollars private airplanes. Is this really God's will for His people, or is this one of the most dangerous theologies being espoused from many pulpits in our day?
