A protein that can prevent brain ageing

Researchers from the National University of Singapore have identified a protein called DMTF1 that helps brain stem cells stay active. Their findings, published in Science Advances, show that restoring this protein in ageing neural stem cells can partially rejuvenate them, helping them divide and renew again.
