Producer, artist, songwriter, and two-time GRAMMY winner, Diplo, sat down with music critic Dan DeLuca for an Up Close & Personal conversation presented by the Philadelphia Chapter. The two discussed Diplo's extensive background in dance music from his roots in the Florida DJ culture, building up his Mad Decent label and block party in Philadelphia, and finding success worldwide with Major Lazer and the collaboration with Skrillex, Jack Ü, which won Best Dance/Electronic Album and Best Dance Recording at the 58th GRAMMY Awards.
