For producing wooden box we need 4mm sheet of hi-quality plywood. First of all drawing of the template in 2D editor Adobe Illustrator or Corel DRAW. Then using laser cutting machine we need to cut needed details, grinding and gluing of ready parts of wooden box.

The technique of the grooves is that the spike itself is slightly larger than the recess so the parts fit into each other with tension, tight, which gives additional strength, after the glue dries out - the box becomes strong enough even with a small thickness of 4mm. The borders of the box, reminiscent of chess, as for me, looks quite beautiful.
