What’s up guys? So with this quarantine and with all barber shops closed, except in GA. Our hairstyles are getting a little bit crazy.
And all of this madness has taken me back to my time in Colombia and all of the crazy hairstyles my friends or I had. Many of them were inspired by soccer players like Carlos Valderrama ( “Carlos Valderrama= Colombian soccer player). The haircuts I will show you today are for male hispanics with similar hair like mine. Of course we have Afrolatinos, women and all other kinds of hairstyles in Latinamerica, but let’s check these few out.

(Recorded last)
My favorite haircut has to absolutely be el Mago Chupado which roughly translates to Sucked mango. The haircut was inspired by David Beckham in the 2002 world cup. I must say that I had this haircut just for one day. And my hair at the time was quite long, so I felt like an iguana but probably looked like a Stegosaurus At the end of day my grandma made me promise never to wear my hair like that again. Cut: Te quiero abuelita (caption-Love you grandma)
Another haircut inspired by a soccer player was la trenza (text on screen= Braid) or the rat tail. This one was inspired by the great Rodrigo Palacio. It looks just like this. I know lots of people who somehow decided to follow this trend. When I showed this to my girlfriend she kind of cringed a little bit.
I personally never got this haircut because I was going to a school for kids of police officers. We could never wear something like that…. It was very strict, but it made me tough

We choose some haircuts and other haircuts are bestowed upon us. And this one was one that very few escaped. El corte de totuma (Text on screen- El corte de tutuma) is essentially a bowl cuts. But in LatinAmerica bowls are for food. So we used Totumas (text on screen) is a type of gourd the totuma was cut in half and you just buzzed cut the rest. You can also make instruments out of them. Nobody could escape it. , and I mean nobody). I remember my mom used to call this haircut el honguito=Little mushroom (text on screen). I guess that is cute. I would make my child (text=I have no kids) get a bowl cut just so I could call them honguitos (text-Little mushrooms). El honguito unless you were 5 it was a haircut that you never felt proud of.

Last but not least inspired by el gordito the original Ronaldo el copete (show text on screen- copete). From the creators of el mango chupado the copete I really don’t know how to translate it, but it is that bunch of hair in the front of your head that is longer and with obnoxious amounts of gel standing up. . When you had this haircut, you became like Ronaldo on the soccer field and no matter matter how you look you were

I hope you guys had fun looking at these crazy haircuts and maybe you can get inspired during the quarantine. Bring mango chupado back or el honguito. Now I only described 4, but can you all tell me what were some haircuts that you had as a child comment below. I hope you guys enjoyed this content, don't forget to give us a like, and please subscribe, I think it is time you subscribe because our content is only getting more fun, we have analysi of hispanic accents, meme reactions, you name it,
