Don Felder was “the other guitarist” in the Eagles. With an amazing touch, note choice and bending technique, he played most of the Eagles most famous guitar solos. Probably his most famous are Hotel California and One of These Nights.
Felder and Bernie Leadon both attended Gainesville High School. Felder learned how to play slide guitar from Duane Allman. One of Felder's students was a young Tom Petty.
After Leanon left in 1975, Joe Walsh joined the band. Felder and Walsh became one of rock music's most memorable onstage partnerships. Felder doubled on banjo, mandolin and pedal steel guitar on future tours.Quite the musician!
