Imprisonment and Rehabilitation

"Imprisonment and rehabilitation" is a short 5 minutes film presenting the actual situation of the Kosovo prison service seen from Wilhelmus Lingmont's point of view, who works for the EULEX Strengthening division as an adviser to the Mitrovica Detention Centre.

Handling offenders and prison organisation in any society is a very sensitive issue. The main issue is how to strike the right balance between imprisonment and rehabilitation.

Wilhelm is trying to develop pilote rehabilitation programs that will help inmates re-integrate more smoothly into society the day they have served their sentence.
