Mingle Media TV and our Red Carpet Report host Kristyn Burtt were invited to cover the 2017 Australian Oscar Nominees Reception hosted by Screen Australia + Australians in Film at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills to celebrate the Australian filmmakers nominated for the 89th Academy Awards®.
This year’s celebration commemorates the record-breaking 13 nominations including, for the first time in history, two nominations for best motion picture for Lion and Hacksaw Ridge. Tanna marks the first foreign language nomination for Australia.
