Rechargeable Batteries Interfere With Audio Recording Equipment – Warning

Power Force Plus Rechargeable batteries have been shown to interfere with some audio recording equipment. Caution is advised if using these batteries in portable microphones for example. This video shows what happens to an audio track when these batteries are installed in powered microphones. A possible explanation for the unwanted noise could come from the added charging circuitry each battery has built in. Current nickel metal hydride rechargeable batteries do not have this charging circuitry built into each battery and do not cause unwanted noise.
