Dr Thomas Smyth talks about how sand dunes changing and how they can be protected, in order to be enjoyed by people and allow the nature to thrive. Dr Thomas Smyth is an aeolian (windblown) and coastal geomorphologist, who is a Senior Lecturer the University of Huddersfield. He is predominantly investigating sand dune dynamics and shipwreck site formation processes! In his research he focuses on measuring and modelling near surface fluid dynamics in aeolian, marine and Martian environments.
