Discovery 2 LAND ROVER HEATER CORE LEAK OVERHEATING Engine fix

For the past 3 years of owning the disco I have had a wet floorboard and have never been able to figure out why.
I assumed it was a window leak that was running behind the dashboard and into the floor but never found anything that could be fixed.

While doing a head gasket job I decided to flush out my heater core since it seems old and worn. Used a water balloon filler to get water inside the heater core and say it came out the other end of core without a problem.
BUT! Something told me to check out the floorboard ,so I did and I found out the problem that had been haunting me for the past 3 years.

This was a problem that not only made my car smell humid because of the carpet but it’s also coolant that runs through and leaks into my cabin.
