Exam Information:

The exam is categorized into two parts:

• CompTIA A+ 220-901: This covers PC peripherals and hardware; networking and troubleshooting; mobile device hardware; and network connectivity issues. Passing score is 675 on a scale of 900.

• CompTIA A+ 220-902: Covers configuration and installation of Operating Systems including iOS, Windows, Linux, Android, etc. Passing score is 700 on a scale of 900.

Note that you have to take exams from the same series to earn the certification. You cannot earn a certification if you mix exams from different series.

The duration of the exam is about 90 minutes and has a maximum of 90 multiple choice questions.

It is conducted in English, Japanese, German and modern Spanish. Each exam would cost you 205 USD and the certificate’s validity expires after 3 years.

The certificate can be renewed for an annual fee of $25. However, you need not pay Continuing Education fees, if you plan to take up a higher-level certification with CompTIA.

CompTIA A+ Certification Exam Objectives – 220-901:

The prime objectives of the A+ 220-901 series exam is to validate your knowledge and skills on the prominent areas of the IT industry, which include: hardware; networking; mobile devices; and hardware and network troubleshooting.
CompTIA A+ Certification Exam Objectives – 220-902:

The domains covered in this exam include Windows Operating Systems; Other Operating Systems and Technologies; Security; Software Troubleshooting; and Operational Procedures.

Conclusion:
