Nature Photography | Learning to See with Nature

Nature Photography and learning to see with nature is a title that seems to fit this video very well, because none of the images featured in this film were pre-planned and completely the result of me being deeply present and noticing my surroundings. Learning to see compositions with 'your' nature photography can take time, but with practice, dedication to the art of photography and of course, lots of patience, you will become competent at noticing your surroundings better. I've been a photographer for more years than I care to admit, but I have never become tired of developing my eye. I love the game of finding compelling compositions and executing beautiful images from what would appear to be very little in the first instance. I urge you to do the same and not get frustrated by not seeing images, but enjoy the journey of developing your eye. It's the time taken that sets you apart as an individual rather than a photographer who turns up to the same place as everyone else and captures the same scene with the exception of varying sky and light. The subject is forever the same in these instances, so take a risk and Learn to See!
