Well Pump Pipe Coming Out of Well Casing Pipe - Part 1

This well pump pipe had broken off of the pump head and into the well casing pipe shortly after we bought our 1912 home in Garner, NC. I had tried a few attempt to lift the pipe up but it was super heavy. Now that I am retired I knew if I could hook it with a steel cable, I would use the engine lift to lift it up. Yesterday, and 20+ years later the top of the pump pipe came up above the well casing pipe. I quickly drill holes to put a large spike nail thru to hold in place. Next phase is to lift up and out and see how deep it is to water, then how deep water is!
