Living with a Facial Difference and Hoping People Say "Hi"

Madisynne lives with a vascular anomaly that causes a facial difference and impacts the way she communicates. She waves at people when they stare, but others often respond by looking puzzled or confused. Whenever somebody does wave back, Madisynne excitedly tells her mom, "They said hello to me!"
