Webinar: Hunting Incident Database

The International Hunter Education Association (IHEA) has released an enhanced version of its Hunting Incident Database, and professionals across the conservation community, including Hunter Education Program staff, R3 professionals, and wildlife conservation officers, are invited to a live training webinar to explore its new capabilities. Developed in partnership with the Council to Advance Hunting and the Shooting Sports and funded through a Multistate Conservation Grant, the updated system streamlines incident reporting, visualizes trends, and generates enforcement-ready summaries.

Presented by Megan Fedrick, Director of Operations for the International Hunter Education Association and Scott Lavin, Director of Partnerships and Research for the Council to Advance Hunting and the Shooting Sports, the webinar will demonstrate key tools like role management, chart creation, and data entry processes. This upgraded platform is designed to support accurate, real-time insights that inform policy, education, and research.
