SpaceX is known for building insane technology and they've done it again with the Raptor Engine! The SpaceX Raptor engine design represents the culmination of rocket engine technology. The Raptor is truly one-of-a-kind.

The Raptor engine is a closed-cycle full flow staged combustion engine, the hardest type of rocket engine to create. The innovative engineering at SpaceX allows this engine to reach world-class efficiency, reusability, and raw power.

SpaceX will use the Raptor Engine to go to Mars one day. Potentially flying up to 1000 times, the Raptor Engine creates more thrust with less fuel. Furthermore, using methane as fuel takes advantage of abundant resources on Earth and its ability to be produced on Mars.
