Hey friends! 👋🏾 I just celebrated another birthday (THANK YOU, GOD!) but this year thanks to the quarantine and lockdown, I had to take my own birthday pictures. In this super quick but cute vlog, I'm showing you my night before prep which included: doing my own acrylic nails for the first time (full tutorial coming soon) and my night time skincare routine + facial using The Ordinary. The next day I set up my backdrop, blew up my balloons, did my makeup and slayed a cheap and affordable short wig, styled myself and literally shot my shot.

Although I have alllll of the equipment and alllll of the lights, I've always been too scared to do this and too reliant on my personal photographer. But content is Queen and I had to get it done, so I did and I'm proud. I even got a little creative with come colored foil which made for some super cool lighting effects and minimal editing.
