Mexico's BEST Pueblo Mágico?! (San Cristóbal de las Casas)

Welcome to the best Pueblo Mágico in Mexico...San Cristóbal de las Casas! Obviously "the best" is very subjective, but it is pretty amazing to say the least! Before traveling to Chiapas we knew San Cristobal de las Casas was the main tourism hub in Chiapas, but we had no idea how beautiful it was! At an elevation of over 7,000 feet above sea level the weather is amazing, the streets are full of color, charm, and culture; plus they have marquesitas...any city that sells marquesitas is a good city in our book!

Chiapas is definitely not overlooked in terms of tourism within Mexico- but San Cristobal seems deserving of more hype and praise! If you are interested in moving to places like San Miguel de Allende or Ajijic/Chapala- San Cristobal is another great option to consider.
