Every task on your computer is a journey. In Chapter 4, we explore the "Life Cycle" of a process from the moment it's created to the second it finishes execution. We'll use our famous Bank Example to make these complex diagrams easy to remember!

What you’ll learn in this video:

The 5-State Model: Start, Ready, Running, Waiting, and Terminate.
The 7-State Model: Understanding "Suspended" states (Ready Suspended & Blocked Suspended) and why we use Secondary Storage.
Transitions: Admitted, Dispatched, Interrupts, and I/O Events.

PCB (Process Control Block): The "ID Card" of a process containing its ID, state, and priority.
TCB (Task/Thread Control Block): Managing individual tasks within a process.
